I’ve been actively Twittering for just a few weeks, but I’m becoming a convert. Here’s why: Twitter has already surpassed most other traffic sources for blog visits. Yesterday Twitter was my top source of page views, beating out Google and internal Maurers yan etkileri justin bieberPRstore traffic.
It’s a little early to declare Twitter the answer to my blog marketing needs, but it’s an encouraging sign. TwitterFeed has been an extremely helpful tool, allowing me to update my Twitter account automatically when I publish a new “Marketing. Simplified.” blog post. Thanks, Cory, for the tip.
New to Twitter? Here’s how I’m using Twitter to grow my business:
- Connecting with journalists
- Networking with other marketing professionals
- Connecting with entrepreneurs who may wish to own a PRstore franchise
- Reaching business owners who need marketing support
- Following thought leaders
- Getting ideas from really smart, clever people
I could go on, but let’s wait to see how useful Twitter is in the long run. In the meantime, I’d like to give a tip of the hat to those Twitter-ers who follow me on Twitter:
